Mode of Action
Multiplex Spodomar which contains virus which is covered by polyhedral capsid a stable protein crystal, once virus enters the larval gut, which is alkaline in nature and dissolves the protein crystal, viruses are released in the larval gut and start spreading the infection resulting larvae becomes pale and glossy in appearance and they hang with their head downwards, giving an inverted V shaped appearance.
The liquid which oozes out of the infected dead larvae, contains millions of polyhedral occlusion bodies, which further helps in the spread of the infection.
Target Pests & Crops
Spodoptera litura on cabbage, cauliflower, tobacco, soyabean, garden pea, tomato, cotton, groundnut and potato.
Dosage & Methods of Application
Mix at the rate of 2 to 3 ml of Multiplex Spodomar in one litre of water and apply on the entire plant in cool hours of evening.

The solution in the spray tank should be shaken quite often as NPV occlude bodies settle in the bottom
