The concept of sustainable agriculture envisages primary emphasis on manipulation and management of biological systems not only to maximize yields but also to stabilize the agro-system and to minimize industrial input demands.
Biological nitrogen fixation in association with rhizobium is one of the most important means of converting large quantities of nitrogen in air and making it available to the plants. Rhizobium is the most widely used bio-fertilizer around the world. Our farmers have to reduce the cost of production, so as to compete with price of their produce. Choosing right type of Rhizobium culture and use those on leguminous crops will enhance crop yields. To reciprocate the continuous support from farmers for the last 3 decades, MULTIPLEX BIOTECH has the pleasure of introducing Rhizobium.
MODE OF ACTION:
Rhizobium, soil bacteria, has the ability to fix atmospheric nitrogen in symbiotic association with legumes. Rhizobium normally enter the root hairs, multiply there and form nodules.
ADVANTAGES OF MULTIPLEX RHIZOBIUM
MULTIPLEX SUNRISE can fix 50-100 kg of nitrogen per hectare in one Crop season and can leave. Behind substantial quantities of nitrogen in soil for succeeding crop.
MULTIPLEX SUNRISE can leave behind 20-30 kg. N/ha for the succeeding crop, In crops like groundnut, Bengal gram, cowpea, green gram and soybean.
MULTIPLEX SUNRISE can increase yields from 15-20%.
Application of 1kg MULTIPLEX SUNRISE is equal to application of 100kg of UREA.
APPLICATION METHODS:
Rhizobium is applied through seed treatment and soil application.
SEED INOCULATION:
100 ml / 500 gm of Rhizobium is mixed with 500ml. (one tumbler full) of Gum Arabica to make slurry. The seeds required for an acre are Mixed in the slurry and Shade dried for 30 minutes, before sowing. The treated seeds should be sown within 48hrs.
SOIL APPLICATION:
Mix 205 ml / 2 kg of Rhizobium in 100 kg dried farm yard manure/Annapurna and broadcast in One acre of land.
PRECAUTION:
Rhizobium should not be mixed with insecticides, fungicides or weedicide. Rhizobium treatment is to be done last, when seeds are treated with pesticides.
