Nematode is the hiding enemy in the agricultural system. It is the most damaging organism among the plants parasites. In addition it affect adversely to the number of crops by making the passage for the entry of diseases causing fungi and bacteria inside the vascular tissues of the host plants. |

| In case of the infected field the plants are conspicuous due to patchy growth and showing a tendency to wilt. Severe infection results in heavy loss of yield and reduced quality of the crop. The root symptoms are galls of varying sizes, depending on host. Inside the galls the elongated to perform female and nematodes are found. The galls are attached to the roots of the host plant and produces an egg sac, surrounded by gelatinous matrix. |

| Multiplex Niyantran is introduced as the nematode control measures for a wide range of crops. The product contains the opportunistic entomophagous fungi viz., Paecilomyces lilacinus proved as a promising bio-control agent for root knot nematode diseases. |

| MECHANISM |

| On Soil application Poaecilomyces, the fungal hyphae infest the nematodes like Meloidogyne incognita, Rotylenchulus reniformis, Helicotylenchus incisus, Pratylenchus coffeae, Tylenchorhynchus SPP. and Radopholus similes. Infestation started through the parasitism and penetration of their mycelium to the body and egg of the causing nematode, results into the disruption of lip and chitin layer of egg shell. Finally egg contents will be destroyed. |
| The fungus also capable of invading matures root Knot diseases nematode females and ultimately makes the mortality of the pest. |

| SOIL APPLICATION : |

| Vegetable and Field Crops : 250 ml / 2 kg of MULTIPLEX Niyantran in 100 kg farm yard manure / Annapurna and broadcast to 1 acre uniformly. |

| Plantation Crops : Mix 3 ml / 10 grms of MULTIPLEX Niyantranin 1 ltr of water and pour like ring near the base of the plant. |
