Azospirillum an associative symbiotic nitrogen fixing bacterium, having higher Nitrogen fixing potential. Crops like bajra, sorghum, cotton, fodder crops and sugarcane responded favorably to azospirillum inoculation. The use of bio-fertilizers in combination with organic manures offers a great opportunity to increase the crop production with less cost. To substantiate this MULTIPLEX HAS LAUNCHED AZOSPIRILLUM.
MODE OF ACTION
Azospirillum assimilates atmospheric nitrogen and fixes in soil and helps to save N (Nitrogen) fertilizers. Azospirillum secretes phytohormones in the plant root region to facilitate quicker and vigorous growth of roots and shoot.
INCREASE GRAIN YIELD
Azospirillium inoculation promotes an early tillering, reproductive growth and increase the filling rate of grains. This biofertilizer increases the grain yield by more than 25 percent.
APPLICATION METHODS
In the transplanted crops, Azospirillum is inoculated through seed, seedling root dip and soil application in nursery and main field. For direct sown crops, Azospirillum is applied through seed treatment and soil application.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
SEED INOCULATION
100 ml / 500 grams of MULTIPLEX Aadhar is mixed with 500 ml. (one tumbler full) of gum Arabica to make slurry. The seeds required for an acre are mixed in the slurry and shade dried for 30 minutes, before sowing. The treated seeds should be sown within 48 hrs.
NURSERY SOIL APLICATION
200 ml / 1 kg of MULTIPLEX Aadhar is mixed with 10 kg dried FYM / Annapurna and broadcast in the nursery area required for an acre of main field.
SEEDLING ROOT DIP
Mix 100 ml / 500 grams of MULTIPLEX Aadhar in 40 liters of water and dip the seedling roots for 10 to 20 minutes before transplantation.
SOIL APPLICATION
Mix 250 ml / 2 kg of MULTIPLEX Aadhar with 100 kg dried Farm Yard menure or Annapurna and froad cast to 1 - acre.
PRECAUTION
Azospirillum should not be mixed with insecticide, fungicide or weedicide. Azospirillum treatment is to be done last.
ADVANTAGES OF MULTIPLEX AADHAR
MULTIPLEX AADHAR can fix 30-50 kg of nitrogen per hectare in one crop season and can leave behind substantial quantities of nitrogen in soil for succeeding crop.
MULTIPLEX AADHAR produces growth-promoting substances like IAA, GA, cytokinins and vitamins which have beneficial effects on crop growth.
MULTIPLEX AADHAR can increase yield 10-30%.
Application of 1kg of MULTIPLEX AADHAR is equal to application OF 40 Kg OF Nitrogen/Ha.
